Competition

Make Mine Miniature – supporting the charity Adopt A Potter

Celebrating Ceramics will feature a special exhibition and competition of contemporary ceramics in miniature.

Exhibiting artists will make unique miniatures of their work that must fit inside a Cone Box (7.6 cm by 7.6cm by 15.2cm). Cones are used to monitor ceramic firings to gauge the temperature inside the kiln to ensure a successful firing.

Entries will be judged, by both the public and the festival’s panel of artists, for technical and aesthetic quality and must be true to the maker’s style.

All work in the competition will be on sale during the festival, with a donation from the sales going to support Adopt A Potter.
